Max Schieble on: Spelling and Punctuation

It's weird some of the things that people choose to spell or punctuate wrong. Have you noticed this? For instance, I got an email from someone the other day, and everything was written normally, except, instead of the word "because," the sender said "cuz." Now, whatever, I still understood what they meant. I didn't think that perhaps "cuz" was being used in an attempt to abbreviate cousin, after all, I'm not related to the sender. It's just funny (not "haha" funny, obviously) that they would skimp on four letters. If it were a text, it'd be one thing. A text I would have no problem with. This, however, I'm a little offended by. I would've appreciated the extra four letters.
Punctuation is another issue that I often take issue with. The thing is, I know a lot about punctuation. Like, an obscene amount. It was just yesterday, in fact, that someone criticized my use of punctuation on this very blog, saying that I use too many commas, to which my response is: No, I don't. I use the proper amount (Nineteen in this post, so far).
In between this paragraph and the last I observed a five minute break in writing. I was trying to find, for your sake, some sort of overall point to make in this post other than that I think I'm incredibly smart and that I am great at complaining. Unfortunately, that is indeed what you just spent a couple of minutes reading. Sorry.
